When is Paul Kariya returning to Anaheim?

Forsberg is back, so that makes the Avs a contender , I mean with all these great teams in the western conference, competition is fierce so I'm just wondering when Paul Tetsuhiko Kariya is reuniting with his home boy Teemu Ilmari Selšnne in Anaheim? you have to admit they were a sick duo and that's what could make the Ducks solid contenders as well , whoever wins the Stanley cup is coming out of the western conference again.

He might live there as a retired NHL player.

For obvious reasons and also because I don't think he would be any good. Especially if Selanne retires.

Corey Perry - Ryan Getzlaf - Bobby Ryan
Paul Kariya - Saku Koivu - Teemu Selanne
Jason Blake - Maxim Lapierre - Joffey Lupul
Todd Marchant - Kyle Chipchura - George Parros

That could make for one wrinkley team haha

Almost impossible to come back after that long, at that age.

he probably won't, they left on bad terms and many ducks fans still haven't forgiven him. (rightfully so)

He's been away a year lol. Working out as well. Forsberg is a year older and hasn't played in the NHL for three years. A bunch of players came back from the lockout without playing at an age of 36 or older. Not saying Kariya will be as good as he once was, but he should still be able to come back as a 2nd line player if that's something that he wants.

When he can study a map again long enough to find Anaheim.

At current, I fear the tweetie birds and stars continue to get in the way.

I saw him in Tustin at the Tustin Market Place and Kariya looked really good. He most certainly is in shape and looked better then when I saw him 4 years ago. I think he could make a comeback if his concussion part would go away. You can bet he wants to make a comeback very badly and the Ducks DO want him when he is 100%. In my opinion, the Ducks must sign him in the offseason if they want Teemu to come back. If he can play and put up similar numbers to Teemu then I say sign him and the Ducks can legitimately roll 3 scoring lines.

Beleskey-Getz-Perry
Kariya-Saku-Teemu
Blake-Ryan-Lupul
Mcmillian-Lappy-Parros

Whether you like the Ducks or not you have to admit that you would be scared of that 3rd line and the potential of an absolutely stacked two Powerplay units.

When the blues played in Anaheim a few weeks ago they said some of the players had dinner with Kariya and that he wasn't close to coming back

Here it is: http://www.stltoday.com/sports/hocke...e63b260ff.html

Quote:
Several players had dinner Tuesday night with former Blue Paul Kariya, who is sitting out this season with post-concussion syndrome.

"It seemed like he was doing good," defenseman Barret Jackman said. "His main goal is get back to feeling 100 percent physically. He's enjoying some time off ... same old Paul. It was nice to see him.

Asked if Kariya still wanted to return to the NHL, Jackman said, "We asked him that, and he said that he hasn't ruled anything out yet. He hasn't made an official announcement that he's retiring, and he still isn't back to the point where he feels like he could play ... so he's in limbo."
Apparently he's still trying to come back so you never know. Concussions aren't like other injuries. They are unpredictable.

Some fans still hold a grudge towards Kariya because he left the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, a Disney owned hockey team that traded Selanne to a division rivalry.

Get over it, I would have done the same.
