Mr

They showed a much better angle of that shot between periods. I mean, he just waited for an opening and just CLOCKED Bieksa.

Nice to see the fellow Greek put one in the win column, especially a devastating W against a hack and mouthpiece like Bieksa.

I think that might be a goal if the puck was in his Lou's pads in the Canuck/Flames game..

Edit.. Yup good goal.. Lou's body and puck was over the line.. Flames win..

I don't disagree that it was a goal, but I thought the puck had to be visible in the replay, especially since the refs initially waved the goal off.

haha Canucks...

100% good goal. The puck was in Luongo's pad.

I guess the NHL had a different angle that showed the puck going over the line..

That would have been pretty tough because it looked like the puck was under Luongo's pads.

Common sense says the puck was over the line, but the NHL rarely exercises that kind of logic....so I was surprised.

I complain about Gomez's salary, but Luongos is probably worse

ya, Vinny's contract is just wrong

Looking at Lu's stats, they aren't that bad... just every time I see him play, he looks so shaky. Maybe it's just the timing or my bias

This is how Brian Burke manages a hockey club ! I am so glad that dink is far away from Montreal. To replace C Orr he calls up J Rosehill. Why wouldn't he call up an offensive player ? No, he thinks that replacing one useless player with another is a way of improving his team !

I think most fans are starting to realize Burkie's way of building a team into a winner is suspect at best....but he does great interviews...

At least he signs the "best" players not playing in the NHL every offseason to keep Leaf nation excited.

Lol@ McGuire vs Milbury on NBC right now...

Milbury is such a blow hard. How does this guy have any TV deals? Worst GM in the history of the NHL, was a mediocre player, and he appears to have the IQ of your average hamster.

He's supposed to be the American version of Don Cherry. They want controversy. He's terrible though.

Yeah... Your right, Cherry pretty much fits my description as well if you switch GM with coach (although Milburry was also a bad coach, it just falls short to meet the craptacular levels his GMing reached).

The last thing we need is more Don Cherry's.. The Americans seem to like to turn everything into Jerry Springer pissing matches though

Didn't know that Jake Dowell could throw em. He did REALLY well vs Dan Carcillo.
