I don't care how good Hamonic or de Haan are or could be, the Oilers have zero interest in a contract like Dipietro's. The only way the Oilers take DP is if Tavares is coming with him, and we all know that the Isles would never trade Tavares.

OK Let's all laugh at the OP.

HAHAHA!
You funny man, you!

You'd have to have the intention of making people laugh to suggest such a trade proposal.

HAHAHAHAHA! Edmonton already has injury prone players like Smid, Horcoff, Hemsky, Bulinwall and Whitney. OF COURSE we'd want an injury prone player with one of the longest contracts out there!

HAHAHA!

Funny man, you!

*Pinches OP's cheeks*

The OP is no sillier then the Oiler fan caling RD a backup. Both are pretty uninformed.

DiPietro had played a total of 12 games over two yrs coming into this season. The isles had no choice but to go slowly with him this yr.Early in the season he had games where he played like crap.Thankfully, those crap starts are coming further and further apart.

He's 7-7-1 in 18 starts,with a .894 save % and 3.35 gaa.

His save % in his last 5 starts are .917/.930/.929/.974/.938
Is 5 games a big enough sample to say he's settling down, past the worst of his
of his struggles?Probably not,but it's very encouraging.

He'll never be the 70 game workhorse he wants to be,but I'm hoping he
can play 55-60 games a season. He should finish with about 40-45 starts this season.

Ask any non-Isles fan and they'll tell you DP is a backup. Even when healthy.

Is all 5000+ posts this informing?

try making a few proposals on here, or maybe you already do. No matter the value, everyone rips into you.

Your just the same as the other vultures that lurk around and try to make people look bad. get a life
