I think we could have a decent game. I remember last year when we had that game against Pittsburgh and had that whole line of AHL players and they were dynamite and all over the Penguins. They were like our top line.

I think we could have a very good line up, the chemistry is there as well, its not like someone new from another team from a trade.

If Pacioretty is not in I would like a lineup of:

Eller Plekanec Kostitsyn
Pouliot Gomez Gionta
White Engqvist Desharnais
Moen Pyatt Darche

I think that 3rd line will be a chippy in your face line same as the 4th. The top 2 lines will have offense. The third will have offense zone presence on it and be a line with good size for grinding and going to the net. The 4th line will be pure grinding and hard net crashing standing in front of the goalie.

I think keep a line of just AHL players get some chemistry staying there and hopefully something comes out of it.

I love how we go from injuries of a small team to a battered team with size. I love it, I hope we use the size tomorrow.

Kostitsyn 6'0
White 6'0
Engqvist 6'4
Pouliot 6'3
Eller 6'2
Moen 6'2
Darche 6'1
Pacrioetty 6'2 - maybe in the lineup.

we did have 2 gone from Cammalleri and Halpern which are 5'9 and 5'11. 7 guys out of the 12 will be 6'0 or over. Now the critics will say we are big but lack experience we always lose with the critics of our team.
That's the softest bunch of 6 footers ever. Saku had more grit then any of the guys on that list. That's what announcers will be talking about.
White will lose his first scrap and everyone will hate him.

Out of all those guys Gionta still plays bigger. Goes to show "on paper" means jack squat.

AK is a tank, yet nobody seems to acknowledge this.

Eller has size and speed, and will get thicker in a year or two ... He's still young.

Everyone will hate White if he loses a fight? What planet are you from?

Moen is soft?

Gionta does play bigger THAN his size , but at the end of the day, size does matter just as much as speed and if everyone on our team was a midget we'd be in trouble.

I guess your still bitter about Saku leaving Montreal?

I don't just meaning hitting and all. I mean they won't be knocked around all the time and will step out, you don't need to go out and fight everything shift or hit everything that moves. Just smart hockey get the puck to the net. Size is a big factor when your going to the net and lets say a 6'2 210 pound dman leans into you. We need that size. Not for your reasons for hitting and fighting. Just need guys to stay on their skate froms a hit and get to the net and in the corners.

By the way, I think Eller stayed in there getting crosschecked from behind by 6'7 Myers of Buffalo the other night. Stayed with the puck and battled pretty well with him.

Moen is a great forechecker and can dish it out and take a hit. The others can hold their own as well.

People are reading waaaaaaaaay too much into this whole thing.

It's quite simple:

1) Pouliot draws back in for Cammy.

2) If Pacioretty cannot go, White plays.

3) If Halpern cannot go, Engqvist plays.

If as expected, Halpern sits, but Pacioretty plays... your lines are:

Eller - Plekanec - Kostitsyn
Pacioretty - Gomez - Gionta
Pouliot - Desharnais - Darche
Pyatt - Enqvist - Moen

Sit: White, Cammy.

If Pacioretty cannot go after all, I'd imagine Moen takes that spot beside Gomez and White joins the 4th line.

This is not rocket science.

Yeeeeeeeeessssssss!

My life is complete!

Meanwhile, the DDH-less, Patches-less, White-less, Enqvist-less, Bulldogs should be in for some trouble

I'm sure he can skate and hold a hockey stick. I'm not sure he can give the Habs a lead or help them come from behind, Interestingly, Pacioretty says he'll play and I guess Engqvist will.

The Dogs are also Conboy-less and Schultz-less.

Hopefully they can get someone back by the 26th, big divisional matchup against the moose who are right on their tails for 1st place.

I kind of want to see Pouliot back with Gomez and Gionta, keep Eller with Plekanec and Kostitsyn.

Never mind, I take it back. I think it is a good idea he was called up so we can finally find out if he is really as good as some think he is, or totally ordinary like I think he is.

White is called up!!??

OMG!! the cup is ours now

Seriously, the hard people get on for certain players is ridonculous. I like him, but he won't make a significant difference. (note I'm not saying he won't make any difference, I'm saying he won't make a significant difference, two different things).

Ryan White in Montreal season

I think White stays for the season or least till March because he bring size, grit and is willing to drop the gloves.

He`s what the club is lacking, but one man can`t do it all, I`m expecting more from Moen & Wis also as he fits in needs to bring the agitation.

Little concerned that Coach Martin is holding the grit guys back.

Haha whatever the **** that means.

Do you guys even listen to yourselves when you actually utter these lines?

"Ryan, from now on, I'm going to have to ask you to keep your grit back".

"But coach..."

"NO GRIT!"

One thing is for sure, he is a whole lot better than Pyatt.

I'd trade Pyatt for a 7th if someone would have him..
