I don't know. I hate him so I don't listen to him if I can.

I am a huge Patrick Roy fan, I was a goalie playing hockey and the biggest influence on my game was Ron Hextall and his rough and tumble style, I love old time, dirty hockey but imo, these are exactly the kind of hits that need to be out of the game.

I think its definately suspension worthy but I realize, they don't suspend for hits from behind 2 feet away from the boards anymore cuz no one has broken their necks recently like when Jason Young of the Sudbury Wolves did it.

Okay, I might be a biased Remparts fan though...
trust me man, i was there and it happened pretty much right in front of me and it was a clear hit from behind, where the oceanic's player had his back showing for a while. roy could have clearly avoided or just pushed him a bit and he didn't, on purpose. no "he turned at the last second" kind of crap.

with the oceanic's player about two feet away from the board, it's a miracle he wasn't injured that much.

considering that roy is a recidivist, he should get the balance of the season and the payoffs...

Wasn't that bad. Maybe suspension worthy, but smells like "darkest day in habs history" by the media all over again

Roy is asking Carbo to apologize for his comments last night. He said he should be suspended for the rest of the season on l'Antichambre. Carbo is a governor in the Q so he can't make that kind of comment about a player. However, Carbo said he wouldn't apologize.

Gaston Therrien called Roy to say he went too far.

That was expected.
