Dubinsky-Richards-Gaborik
Wolski-Stepan-MZA
Boyle-Anisimov-Callahan(shut-down, 2b line)
Avery-Drury-Prust
Boogaard

Christensen traded
Fedotenko re-signed if he takes about the same salary AND if Drury is bought out/traded
Prospal, Frolov, Gilroy let go
Kreider, Werek, Bourque, Hagelin, Campbell signed and in the AHL

Staal-Girardi
Sauer-MDZ
Eminger-McDonagh
Veteran 7th
Stand back everoyne; I'm deploying the Richards-away.

Boyle got the Rangers two points tonight. That's stuff that Dubinsky does for us late in games when we're tied or down a goal.

We all know it usually takes bigger players longer to develop. What is surprising is that this season it is like Boyle flipped a switch and his whole game changed. More determined, more confidence... the work on the skating maybe helped with all that.

In any case, the guy seems to have found his niche in the pro game. And, even better, being a 4 year college player often helps with longevity, less wear and tear on the body. So, he is a young 26 when you consider that. We might even see more improvement over the next couple years.

How long before we start seeing Boyle jerseys pop up all over the Garden

I never saw one before this year, but I think the guy is gonna start selling like hot cakes.

As long as he's re-signed. I think most will hold off until then.

I agree, for the price of a Jersey its tough to pull the trigger on a guy like Boyle, heck I debated waiting until Dubinsky was resigned to get my Dubinsky Heritage...but I caved...

This. And it will cost an extra x amount of dollars to personalize it, so I wouldn't want to risk getting it then have negotiations fall through with Boyle and then he's gone.

My brother got one for Christmas. Heritage jersey.

My family always picks odd players.

I still break out my Todd Harvey white liberty sometimes!

NHL replica jerseys are pretty expensive relative to replica jerseys for other sports, so I usually only buy players' jerseys who I know will be with the team for a while. Boyle has been great for us this season, but none of his know his fate beyond the end of the season. He could be re-signed (very likely IMO), but he could also leave for more money, or this year could be a fluke and he could be off the team after next season. Whereas if I buy someone like Staal I know that he'll still be with the team in 5 years.

I was debating getting either he or Anisimov, wound up getting an Arty heritage as his job seems much more secure.

This season Brian Boyle learned how to skate and found out that he was 6'7 250 lbs.

I never thought I'd say this but...

Can you imagine where this team would be without Brian Boyle?

im LOVING the play of Boyle this year, well deserving of a contract extension, just hope he keeps this strong play up towards the end of the season when were going for a playoff push

This has just been a great surprise. He was a first round pick and did show ability to score at BC and the AHL.
Good for us, in years past we were the ones giving up on guys who broke out after trading them away.

Many in this thread hated the trade and bashed it quite well right up until a few weeks ago. I think we can all agree it seems to be working out to our advantage.
