There is a one-word response to that, perhaps best know for a reference to a cat. You southerners are soft.

Currently 10 degrees at Buffalo/Niagara Airport. Low tonight might get down to -7.

Looking at carseats and strollers, aka "travel systems", and stumbled on this gem.

I'm over here in Starin Central visiting my girlfriend. Was supposed to go home today, but with all the snow & the cold, there's concern about me making it home (need front tires really bad) - I almost slid into a curb last night coming home from the movies. I may be "stuck" here another day.

Of course, there's nothing wrong about being stuck in Buffalo.

About 8-10" here, but it's light-weight, fluffy stuff, great fun to snowblow. And I do three-six driveways including my own... because I can.

oh - she's fine. she's prone to kidney infections (long story) and has been hospitalized 3 times for the problem- luckily- minimal damage and the tests show she isnt 'growing out' of the problem- so its been recommended by 2 specialists its time for surgery. Of course Asher has the same problem..

Only dropped to 20 last night, but until today it hadn't been above freezing since Thursday.

Net result: the hot and cold water to my bathroom faucet were frozen this AM, as was the supply to the toilet. I had some flow to the shower, so I let that run and waited, and eventually got flow restored.

Yeah I know what you mean. I live in an old carriage house and have to drip the faucets overnight when its below 10.
