Not that Spezza would want to go to Columbus but I can see them trying to sign Spezza for Rick Nash.

Except Spezza is under contract and Columbus is unlikely to be able to afford the assets to get him (since Ottawa would need a lot coming back to make it worthwhile)

For sure. He didnt ask for a trade (which drove down Heatleys value immensely) and he's a better hockey player.

I thought Spezza asked for a trade in the offseason? Also do you think Spezza's injuries will drive down his value?

If Spezza goes to Columbus it won't be for Nash as Columus wants #1C to play with Nash. If Spezza was going to Columbus Johansen+ would be going the other way.Just Saying

Karlsson, basically Spezza, Cowen probably for the basic reason that if we trade a Dman to address a need elsewhere it will be Rundblad or Wiercioch
