Glad the Steelers beat Rex and those DB Jets, but it's time for them to lose. Go Rodgers and Co.

Seriously.

Season 4 starts pretty slow, but the last 3 episodes are some of the best in the series.

Yeah, my friend just sent me the .gif file on Twitter. I wanted to bleach my eyes out when I saw that during the game.

The low is supposed to be -15 tonight...should be a very pleasant commute to UB tomorrow morning.

Apparently the "Current active users" feature of the boards is back.

My rear defroster didn't get rid of all of the ice on the car this morning, nor was my windshield completely cleared of ice by the time I got into work. Holy snap!

Is there any debate that the Summer rules over the Winter?

Given how we have to adapt to the cold -- more time needed to get places, extra tools (scrapers, brushes, shovels) to make our transport work, and extra clothing needed... it's clear to me that winter kicks summer in the ass and reigns as the supreme season.

I was theorizing over a contest of awesomeness between the two seasons, not raw power over the season's denizens / prisoners.

But your point is well-made.

It's already better than season three. The whole

I didn't mind
Spoil:
Miguel Prado ordeal
but the entire thing with the

stupid serial killer, the slicer or whatever his name was
seemed pretty tacked on and a just script filler.

Yeah, I agree. He was never really menacing or anything. I was "meh" about the season.

Season four is good so far - Lithgow is great as a creeper. Best performance since "Harry and the Hendersons."

I completely agree with your assessment, but the entirety of season three is better than

So the binge day was just that, with some clear excesses as is prescribed. I had a grilled cheese sandwich, a couple of winter ales, some milk chocolate sponge candy, chicken with goat cheese, some garlic mashed potatoes, and a slab of chocolate cake over the course of the day. My best guess would be something in the 5500-6000 calorie range... maybe more.

And of course, today is connective tissue soreness from Saturdays ab stuff. At least the tears I know about aren't hurting.

Our cheat day was Saturday. Healthy breakfast / lunch, dinner was a Chipotle burrito, then we grabbed a few pieces of cake from Premier Gourmet. It was good, but my body clearly wasn't used to the sudden influx of sugar - I was a little on edge for an hour. I was probably still under 2800 calories.

Then again, this Saturday, Clock and I did go to Chipotle and then each got a slice of chocolate peanut butter cake from Premier Gourmet.

Weekly work related rant:

Ooooo boy. Come in this morning, we can't send to external email, we can't access our sales database. Why, you ask?

Because someone from our london office doesn't realize that the DNS and Routing tables he is changing to move our to our new ISP is going to a router that isn't connected to our network...at all. So, all our external DNS and VPN connection to our global offices in London are running to a router that is connected to a MPLS circuit...and thats it.

Of course, if my boss wasn't paranoid about losing his job and would let me talk to the london office, I would have told them this first thing this morning. But if our Global admin can't figure out that the interface on the router going out to our network isn't connected to anything, well, I just don't know what to say.

What makes me more angry that for the cost of a couple of hours OT, they could have fixed every issue and cutover this weekend with no hitch. but I guess they'd rather have all our NA offices without the tools to do their jobs for a couple of hours than pay IT any OT. And of course, people in the office thinks its OUR local IT offices fault.

Yeah, I need to get out of here...fast.
