Colin Wilson to FLA

What would it take for him to be on Fla?

A lot more than you want to offer.

I really don't think anything on Florida would be tempting enough to get Wilson out of Nashville. Maybe Something around Weiss, but that's about it.

Why would Nashville give Colin Wilson?

Not good timing on this one. A few months ago i think about it, but He has really come on strong recently. Every once in awhile he simply takes over a play and single-handedly dominates play. He looks like he got a star in MarioKart or something.......

Because nobody likes playing here. Haven't you heard? Shea Weber has been asking for a trade for like the last three years.

Plus Wilson is part of the franchises future. He could be our star forward so I dont see Wilson moving at all unless it was a blockbuster

I don't mean this as a slight, but there's nothing Florida could really offer that would pay dividends soon enough to merit trading Wilson. He is already looking like a very, very good player...and I don't think he's scratched the surface of his potential.

I took my sons to a CBJ game earlier this year where we sat about 4 rows from the ice. Wilson was standing directly in front of us and Methot, who is not small, tried to check him and bounced off like he ran into a wall. Later in the game Methot tried again and again, bounced off, Wilson barely moved. I was pretty impressed with how strong he is on his skates if nothing else. One of my sons even pointed at Methot and laughed.

That exact scenario has happened more times than you think this season. Wilson is dangling with the puck and some Dman decides to line him up and Wilson sees him coming and braces himself and the opponent bounces right off. In fact it happened to an Oiler tonight.

Wilson is already a big boy but he is also jacked. Even when we drafted him he was a workout fiend and still is. The only thing is he doesn't use his size and strength to his advantage enough. Right now he is playing like a pure skill player. He isn't a speedster but when he is able to wind it up he had decent speed while carrying the puck. If he will ever learn to use his size and strength and dip his shoulder into the Dman while he gots that speed going he will be a load to handle. Right now when he is carrying the puck into the zone he pulls up and waits for a trailer 99 percent of the time even if he has a step on the Dman. If he can learn to play more like a PWF he will be even more deadlier when you combine his strength and size with his skill.
