As usual your post has turned into a backhanded compliment towards Richards and Carter. Just enjoy the team.

That is as much to do with Stevens being fired as it is having Pronger here

I have no problems with Richards and Carter has actually been showing he cares, let's just see if he can show up in the playoffs when it counts!!

The point is we as fans should be thanking our lucky graces that Pronger is on this team to enjoy what we have right now.

Stevens absolutely was the enabler of those kids.

Yeah I am very glad we got Pronger he is a excellent leader and knows the game better than most people. Him and Timonen are perfect compliment to Richards and Carter in the leadership department. Seasoned vets, and young core leaders.

I don't remember Pronger fighting all that often. He is more feared for his hitting than anything else. Not many people want to go into the corner with Pronger in playoff mode, you know Kane doesn't.

Coburn did a good Pronger impression on Toews the other day.

You really need a buy-in from both ends, without Richards and Carter pulling their weight Timonen and Pornger are useless to the team outside of their skills. It is one of the things that had me concerned with how last years team evolved.

Once Stevens was gone I feared that they may resent seeing Stevens go and a guy like Pronger call them out for being young. Instead with the help of Laviolette they have come back this year and are taking the necessary steps to be good, young players in the NHL.

Let's hope that continues. Coburn plays a lot better when he's playing physical and hitting.

I dont like see $5 million+ dollar players fight jobbers, just my opinion.

If Briere was going to fight anyone, it should be someone of his caliber. Not ryan shannon

just my opinion.
