Are you serious? Your team is like 8-2-0 in their last ten (and 10 of 12 apparently) and you want them to have a break?
Chill. We've been horrible the last 2 games and our next game is against the #1 team who we usually don't play well against. The team is clearly fatigued. Of course you looked at the stats so you know everything right?
For sure it looked like we had some tired legs out there tonight. I'm sure the team is getting a little worn down. Rest up tomorrow and beat Vancouver on Wednesday and I would still consider this a highly successful road trip.
Back to back game. We almost lost to EDM last night. I'd say we need a break.
Funny that you say that, as on the Flames broadcast Charlie Simmer was talking to Marty Gelinas (who is also a hero in our city), and he was saying that he was talking with the Nashville players and they all agreed that back to backs aren't that bad as long as you don't have a 4+ hour flight and lose an hour.

They didn't look that tired to me tonight. I'd say Nashville was the better team offensively at least in terms of puck control. Especially in the third, but they couldn't get past Calgary's D.

Because players saying they don't mind playing back to backs equates to playing good on the ice, right?

Trust me, most people that post here are knowledgeable about the Preds and see the majority of their games. A lot of our team was skating with heavy legs out there tonight. It's very obvious when we are skating well and playing the way we want to play. Tonight wasn't even close to it from the start of the game till the end. Not taking away anything from Calgary, they certainly didn't look like the basement dwellers that are perceived to be.

Oh don't get me wrong. I'm not saying its not likely. I just found it ironic.
To be honest, if my only judge on their fatigue levels was how hard Nashville forechecked in the third, I would have thought it was either a playoff game or they were well rested.
Don't be fooled by Calgary's place in the standings. They are playing like a playoff team right now. Still though, we look sloppy and tired. We start the period on the PP so hopefully we can put some pressure on early.
Yeah I agree with whoever said Wilson is playing better and better. Best forward on our team right now. I love that he's coming in to his own
And yet, for some reason, with Calgary goalie pulled....NO WILSON? Not that you would have won the game, but it would have given you a better chance I would think

Trust me when I say that Flames fans are just as confused as you guys are. Where the hell this team has been before this week is the worlds greatest mystery.

The REAL Preds power play reared it's UGLY, UGLY head tonight..YIKES!!! As mentioned before, Belak should NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER again be on the ice in a Preds uniform after puck drop. Glad tonight is over; why does the first team back off the road have to be the flames next week?????

That's the way it is aroung here FF. Either the sun is shining and the preds are winning the Cup or the sun has died and the preds are playing for the lottery pick.
Before this team reached 20 games people were whining about how the season is already over...we'll be playing for the lottery pick...blah blah blah.
Yes didn't have their best game last night but ended up winning. Didn't play their best game tonight ended up losing. It evens out
Now tomorrow is where if they don't play their best game we get the dallass treatment.
Oh my god you guys. I'm sorry to gush after a loss but I had such an awesome night. My best friend got me great seats for my birthday. I went right up to the glass for warm-up. Was in the lower bowl for the game. Ran into some Sicamous natives who took us to see Cody and Shea after the game. Pictures, jersey signed. Shea Weber was an absolute terrible liar when he pretended to remember my friend and I from summers in Sicamous, but I guess if you're gonna be bad at something ...
Anyway, none of this has anything to do with the game and I'm sure you couldn't care less but ... GREAT birthday present. Only thing that coulda made it better was a win.

Gotta agree on this - my friend who's not a huge hockey fan made the astute observation: "didn't you say the Preds had a pretty good PK? It looks like they're killing the Flames penalties too."
