Damn. We should have trade Alfredsson for him when we had the chance!

I wouldn't be opposed to the Canucks rolling the dice on him...could he really be worse than Bolduc as a 4th line C? Lots of experience including a Cup run and 53% on faceoffs this season.

A confusing move..... he makes league minimum so I could see Gillis taking a chance on him and waiving Bolduc........

I know it was never going to happen, but maybe the realize Fluery should have made the team over Conroy a couple seasons back! haha

Kidding, but would love to see Theo play one more time.

this pains me deeply

I hope someone picks him up and gives him a chance... he is still good enough to play at this level... still has the legs for it... and his passion and leadership will be an asset to anyone

This sucks. Conroy still has some gas left in the tank, and he's better than Ales freakin' Kotalik who doesn't get waived?

And I still don't understand why he's sitting on our bench, when other plugs deserve to sit more.

Ridiculous.

Making room for Toews, had to dump some intangibles

Like others, first team I thought of was the Nucks. I actually wouldn't mind him on the Habs either if they aren't sold on one of the kids yet.

It wouldn't surprise me if Conroy asked to be waived because he'd been a healthy scratch for so long, see if there was anyone interested in him.

Looks like Conroy no longer has his 'Darryl Sutter' assured line-up spot with the new management team.

He's exactly the sniper the Blues need to go all the way this season!

But seriously, with our crappy play as of late, we could sure use his "intangibles". Unfortunately, that seems to be one of the few things he has going for him these days.

Slater has been out with a concussion for about a month or so. I can see the Thrashers biting.

I think the Oilers could really use his veteran prescence on the 4th line. He is cheap. Most likely will clear waivers. But I still wouldn't be shocked to see a team like Vancouver or Detroit pick him up

I am not saying the Habs could use him.... but he would be coming back to where his career started, if he went to the Habs.

I think and with no knock on Desharnais, I think we could use Conroy's size and leadership/experience for a playoff push. He could come cheap and Desharnais could come in for injuries. I know Desharnais has been good since his call up. I just don't want a size issue be a problem for us going into the playoffs. I don't want Philly or Bruins thinking their size is going to push us around. I know Conroy is no superstar. If we can bulk up on decent size and Conroy at 6'2 and decent on faceoffs would be a good pick up. Possibly move Halpern between Pouliot and Eller.

Cammalleri Plekanec Kostitsyn
Pacioretty Gomez Gionta
Eller Halpern Pouliot
Moen Conroy Darche

ex. Desharnais/White

Perhaps he was shopped, but there we no takers. It's possible some playoff-bound teams told Feaster they'd snatch him off of waivers, though, giving Conroy another run at the big show.

If he still has gas left in the tank, as Flames fans are saying, I'm all for the Canucks picking him up.

Canucks picking him up for a 4th line center sounds good. If he doesn't work out just waive him again and trade for a real 4th line center.

Canucks should be all over this.

St. Louis needs to seriously consider adding Conroy. They are 25th in the league in faceoffs and their PK is continuing to slide. With the injuries they have he would be a welcome addition.

Does well at the draws, plays PK and is a decent leader. Should get picked up by someone.

I was thinking about STL. After losing Wellwood and Svatos here is a decent stop gap.
