Seriously, though, Bob had a couple of horseshoes up the rear tonight. He was fighting the puck on more than a few occasions.

Bob!

Haha is he the creature from the black lagoon?

Boucher has been No. 1 before and could be again. Leighton still lurks in the minors. The Flyers say they are taking it a game at a time, that they don’t put numbers on their goaltenders.

Bob!

That was a pretty well-written article, actually...Bob is awesome. As a goalie, I've wanted my whole life to see the Flyers pick up somebody and bring them in as a rookie, and have them become a legit #1. I'm trying to remain guarded about my expectations, but Bob just makes it hard to be skeptical.

KHl have less games but Russian coaches love to have practice everyday, even twice a day. He should be fine.

After beating Varlamov and the Capitals last week, 3-2, Bobrovsky sat next to an interpreter in the Flyers’ dressing room. He said something in Russian.

“The confidence is back,” the interpreter said.
Bob!

Its a great time to be Flyers fan and Bob is one reason why. There is nothing I don't like about this guy. The more I see and read, the more I like him.

I was talking about this with my brother: I swoon every time Bob winks, and no, i don't think it's gay, thank you very much.

I really want to see video or a pic of Bob winking on the ice. If he's doing it to the other team, I love this kid more than I ever thought I could.

I swear I saw him do it last night.

If I can find a replay of the game this afternoon I will look for it and try to record it.

Not only that but he said in Russia, you do everything for yourself where as in the NHL, the team does everything for you. It's a totally different lifestyle as an NHL player.

Sorry to interrupt the swoonfest, but was anyone a little concerned with the near-misses last night? Especially the puck that squirted through but stayed out of the net (thankfully); had it gone in, that would have been yet another case of 2 goals in <2 min to let a team back into the game after building a 3-goal lead.

Negativity after such a convincing win? I guess. However, I'm still not completely comfortable with our current G tandem for a Cup run.

Bobrovsky once punched a hole in a cow just to see who was coming up the road.

To Bob-rovsky!

Edit: Had to look this one up, but it was always one of my favourite Brasky stories:

Did I ever tell you about the time Bobrovsky was in a production of, 'The King & I?' On opening night, Bobrovsky chloroforms the entire cast and slowly eats them in front of the audience for two hours. The production got pretty good reviews.

He is better dressed now than he was during the preseason dinner, cannot find the pictures but they were on the Flyers website.

This is all you need to know about this cat, first NHL game in Pittsburgh.

Not really. Every goalie has those games once in a while.

If it continues, then yes I'll be concerned. But we're 32 games away from the playoffs, and a couple pucks trickling through the arms is a fairly minor correction to make. I really wouldn't worry about it.

I was named "the closest thing to Bill Brasky IRL" by one of my friends. New Year's 2005-06 in AC was Brasky-level absurdity.
