ECHL Chicago Express Hockey (starting 2011-2012 season)

Hey everyone!

I am with the Chicago Express hockey team that will be playing here in the E come October. We are reaching out to create awareness of the team; as well as get any feedback from fans as to what makes your experience at games great. We want this place rockin when the puck drops on our inaugural season... so anything you see your teams do, or suggestions you have is appreciated. We have the season ticket prices in the league but know that isn't always enough to get fans to come aboard.

Any and all comments are appreciated.

Thanks guys,

Dan Jeck

Top two suggestions: Get a twitter account, and facebook page.

Have timely updates on website with team news.

We do have both of those, twitter and Facebook...

On the website we try to give updates of league news as well as promotions we run... right now updates are a little slow being a little ways away.

First Dan, thanks for asking and best of luck to you and Express-
This is minor point, but I just attended game in Ft. Wayne for first time- I bought a $4 program hoping to read about the team and its long history, but instead it was nothing but advertisments- only $4, but it left a bad taste in my mouth-
What I did like in FW was simple ticket pricing- 20/14/10- none of this 8 different levels, extra for weekends/special teams, etc.-
Secondly make sure to get out to local rinks, as I am sure you are doing-I believe there is a nice double rink in Dundee- free/reduced tix to all Jr. Hockey as well as Sr. Hockey players gets em out to the rink-
Also I think your rink is located where you can only park at the rink- be careful what you charge for parking- we have been spoiled here in Phx not having to pay for parking for Yotes games-
