Might almost be a good thing if Richards got a 1 year extension, would line him up with the end of Drury, Avery, Wolski contracts.
That would be ideal. I think that brings it right to when the current CBA expires, I believe. Could bring another compliance buyout period, where the Rangers could rid themselves of Redden's contract. Then only have two "large" contracts is Lundqvist and Gaborik.
Lot's of money to potentially spend, especially if Sather signs Dubinsky and Callahan long-term this summer. Could be a bad thing, Sather will all the freed up money lol.
Kinda OT, but I actually bumped into Brett Lebda who plays for the Leafs, really down to earth guy. Chatted about how the Leafs started out really strong earlier in the season but have since slowed down; asked him about Gustafsson and he said he isn't playing with any confidence right now, even in practice. Told him I was a Rangers fan and he said he almost signed with the Rangers this offseason but chose Toronto instead. Just thought it was kind of interesting.

I like Lebda but I am glad he didnt sign here we are packed on D right now

how many here followed every move made by kotalik and higgins once they were shipped out. same with gomez and any number of others i havent mentioned.
couldnt stand the guy when he was here. overpaid unhealthy underperformer. hes doin the same thing with phoenix now. thats my point.

what does kotalik or higgins have to do with roszival....he had a long tenure with the rangers....was healthy nearly every season until this year. I dont know what your talking about him being unhealthy. In every year he was with us he played 80 games or more except for one in which he played 76. ODC your opinions are a joke and you have made a name for yourself on these boards in the worst way possible.
Continue to bash guys and finally with this lineup and few guys to bash your posts have gotten less and less. Just one more benefit of having a good rangers squad.
