I'd drop Meszaros for Benn.

If the league counts +/-, I'd drop PK before Mez. Particularly if salary isn't an issue.

He failed to mention whether it was a keeper or one-year league so I said Meszaros just to be on the safe side.

If it's HC's league he primarily talks about, I think it's a keeper, but they only get 6 from year to year.

I just looked at the All-Star break power rankings... why is Bob lower than Kipper, Bryz, Ward, Halak and Howard? Is it because he's a rookie? I know Crawford is higher and he's a rookie, but I'd say that's to his GAA, but still...

yeah we have a 6 player keeper league, so none of the players I'm talking about make the cut.

And we do use +/-

I'm very torn

What Time Is It, Mr. Snow? - Various KHL stars attempt to sneak up and sign the NHL contract lying at center ice, until Garth Snow appears and they all scatter like rats.

Yeah I caught some of that. If Clement wasn't on I probably would've tuned out after 2 minutes. I thought it was a joke at first, but when I realized he was going to be like that all 2 hours I sighed. Dude sounds like he chain smoked for 20 years, spent 10 years as a lead in a death metal band, and spent his free time as a "shock jock" and swallowing glass. He had like 6 jerseys he brought in to wear and switched them up during breaks too, which I found to be odd for a radio show, even though it is broadcast on NHL network too. Poor Bill...

Bolts get new logo and jersey next season. Apparently I'm the only person who likes them.

Nope. I really like the white jersey, love the shoulder patch, and the lacing is great.

The logo itself is meh, but it's clean and works well.

Colors are good enough for me, logo is okay I guess and I like the patch. I just don't like the inversion of colors for the away jersey logo. Something about the blue lightning bolt just doesn't work for me.

I thought of the Leafs right away when I saw those. I'd like them no problem if they didn't remind me of Toronto.

I don't like 'em. The shoulder patches are nice, but the logo and front of the jersey seems way too bland and simple.

Interesting. My fantasy team's jersey is blue with white, because I never really saw any jersey with it, and thought it looked good. Then they go with this.

I like it, it's simple but still looks good, and the new logo is fine. Only thing that sucks is I just got a Stamkos jersey and will need to buy a new one now. Doh.

Also, whenever a Lightning player hits the post, we can say he couldn't finish and has a case of "blue bolts." Zing.

I like them. Pretty cool looking. I do agree though that it looks like the Leafs jerseys.

I quite liked their Jerseys before, so not a personal fan. Definitely look like the Leafs now.

The Avalanches are snowed in...

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/201...html?eref=sihp

Quote:
AP) -- The St. Louis Blues saw plenty of snow and ice, but no Avalanche.

The Blues' game against the Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday night was postponed because of a storm cutting a frigid path across much of the nation.

A makeup date has not been set for the NHL game, which would have been the first since the All-Star break for both teams.

Missouri has been hit by what could be the its worst winter storm in decades, a dangerous mix of snow, freezing rain, wind and cold. Whiteouts paralyzed Oklahoma City and the Tulsa area, and blowing snow created drifts up to 4 feet high.

Apparently our good old "friend" Jordan Staal suckerpunched Brandon Prust tonight and got himself ejected with a match penalty. Have yet to see a video of it though.

Edit: Here's the video.

Definitely a sucker punch. Suspension incoming, I hope.

Other than that, for those who didn't follow the GDT:

Yeah, that's a sucker punch. We'll see what the league does about that one...

And I wouldn't want to be in Staal's shoes. Prust has a long memory.

Edit: That Subban/Ovy thing is awesome.

Well on the plus side, holding onto Gagne forever has finally been paying off.
