Look at the islanders. They are ranked 8th while spending nearly 34mil and projected to win 65 points. If they pumped 20-25mil into fee agents, could they be contenders?

Not quite that easy...

However, the Isles have also been devastated by injury this year. They should be a team competing for a playoff spot in the not too distant future.
