So wish I was there. The red carpet is awesome and the tailgating will be fantastic.

I wish I was there too. (stupid job)
The Red Carpet event was one of the BEST parts of the All-Star week-end in Atlanta.
(has it really been 3 years?)
I'm still hoping that Nashville will get to host the event someday.

To those of you who are going, I won't tell you to have fun 'cause I know you will!

That's the real issue, isn't it? ...Convention center space.

I know Nashville will never get a Winter Classic...just not enough "Winter". (well, at least up until THIS year. )

But the "southern" cities DO lend themselves to the All-Star event with their hospitable "winter" climes. I remember Montreal had to do the Red Carpet walk through a "tent/tunnel" due to the coldness outside. Kinda lost something there IMO.

Chara vs. Weber

Fastest slapshot competition!

Will extra MPH be given if the puck goes through the net?

I think Weber consistently gets off a harder shot than Chara in real-game situations, though.

Weber ends the game with 4 assists, tied with L Eriksson for most points of the game.

Safe to say Weber represented Nashville well

Probably should have gotten MVP but that stuff doesn't matter.

I think we could put on a great All-Star weekend. And we would have better anthem singers to boot!

Gotta say that the Lidstrom - Webber pairing was a treat. Combined för +13 and if subtracting the GA they were on the ice for 10 of the 11 goals forward. Amazing.

//Cheers
