I honestly thought Kane was gonna say "we're happy.....we don't need the extra skater" Would have been better if he said...."We'll take Darren Dreger".

I thought this format is fun, even if it dragged on a little. It might have been better if everyone just threw in their sticks and pick the teams pond hockey style.

I love that Kessel was last, though think it's stupid he got a car.

They already penciled in the lineup. They just showed it before they went to commercial but Kopitar is slated to center the fourth line with Kessel and didn't see the other winger but well there you go.

I would have made the GM's people like Gretzky, Don Cherry, Mark Messier, some sort of legendary add to the show.

This would have been actually pretty cool. Although would have to put forwards, defenseman, and goalies all in their respected groups. Otherwise one team may end up with like 5 goalies etc, etc.

Don't think that was the actual line up. They were just filling it in...hopefully.

The charity donation is pretty cool, especially given that Kessel is a cancer survivor.

I don't either....but in all likelihood, I do believe he will be the 4th line center. Stamkos, Sedin, Toews.....c'mon.

They should have set this up to have Toews go last, and when he slipped for awhile I thought that's what was going to happen.

MVP of the Olympics
Conn Smythe winner
Captain of the Cup Champs

He has been clearly the most accomplished player in hockey the past year. Let him go last and let everyone get a good laugh out of it.

I may be one of the few but I'm not opposed to Kopi's line. Kessel needs help to succeed and is a good goal scorer and Eriksson is a good goal scorer too so I can see Kopi racking up assists next to them

This.

I laugh every year how seriously people take the All-Star stuff. The players always seem to enjoy it.

Who cares about the NHL All-Star game in all honesty? Stupid draft gimmic, what difference does it make who is on what team and blah blah blah. They should just have the skills comp and forget about the shinny hockey that is played on Sunday.

I do. It doesn't mean the same as a Kings game obviously, but it's fun.

That was actually pretty entertaining to watch, I enjoyed it. I'm happy that Kopitar went to Team Lidstrom too.

That was just the names being written down in the order they were chosen I believe.
