This was in the post-game thread of the Caps game, as it was on the Versus broadcast. Nice video, shows that everyone's coming together around Torts' vision for the squad.

There will be ups, there will be downs, but the majority should not complain, since we are getting what we always wanted. The rebuild was under the radar, but it was occurring right before our eyes.

Of course the draft is a crap-shoot, but when you choose to pick players who show heart and have good character, the success rate will be higher.

I love this team (minus a few ) and I love the direction that the organization is going in. Hopefully it continues for years to come.

No longer will I have to hear the "The Rangers don't have an identity" comment in NHL video games.

Its pretty crazy how the guys we've been waiting years for, and watching grow and develop are now seemingly starting to pan out.

Pretty exciting to see where this team will be in a few years.

Not gonna lie I got goosebumps from the video. This team could be special in a few years if we add the right pieces.

for sure. Going to be interesting seeing peoples reactions to IF a guy like Richards is the right piece. He's still relatively young and given the fact he has won with Torts he seems like the perfect fit to me.

I think come this trade deadline we can be pretty confident in that they won't move main young assets. I can see the renting a Vet Dman to make a big run but won't be at the cost of a guys like a Kreider who are the next wave

Great points made in this video - today's NHL is led by young players with the exceptions of a few older guys who are just incredible. You need to draft and develop your own stars because you just aren't going to get them any other way.

This team is definitely on the right track.

Remember all the fire Torts talk? "He's and idiot" or "he doesn't know anything about hockey" - pretty hilarious in hindsight.

I'll admit I've never been a Torts guy and while I still question some of his on-ice decisions he's about as good as it gets in the locker room. The man knows how to rally his troops

I'm starting to come around on Torts. He's even had a much better year during the game this year I think, in addition to being great in the locker room. He seems to have found a balance with O & D this year, whereas last year was either score 7 and give up 8, or hide in our turtle shells and get shut out.

I'd like to take this opportunity to honor Brian Boyle's hat in this video.

Well played.

I think like in most situations the answer is in a gray area in between how you're trying to portray it.

I've been a guy who this board would consider Anti-Torts, but that's only because I state my honest opinion about him and people run with anything negative as being Anti-Torts.

My biggest problem with him is that I think he handles a ton of issues extremely hypocritically. But I've always loved his enthusiasm, his idea of an identify for this team, his commitment to youth, and his ability to turn Brandon (the guy half the board wanted to trade) Dubinsky into the player anyone with eyes knew he could be.

People that don't support every aspect of the head coach and refuse to use logic like, "well he's an NHL coach and I'm not so I'm just not going to criticize him ever!" type approaches are ostracized like they're spreading libel about the man.

If only the draft could be this amusing.
