Matt Walker (PHI) and Ales Kotalik (CGY) [both clear]
O'Donnell has been one of the best Flyers Defensive D's this season. Walker should play if one of the top 6 guys gets injured, if his contract wasn't that bad.
No he isn't. Not with the cap hits. Bartulis was inserted when needed and did just fine.
I agree that Walker is making too much money as the 7th D, but you honestly would trust Bartulis in the playoffs if one of our top 6 D's got injured? I surely wouldn't trust him as much as Walker given that situation. In the regular season though Bartulis playing some isn't too bad because he is young and has a lot of room for improvement.

Odonnell has been ok but he isn't very fast and isn't very good at skating in general anymore. Obviously he brings leadership and is ok if he doesn't get caught out of position by a stamkos or st louis type of player

Odonnell doesn't get caught out of position often. That is what makes him good. He doesn't have to be fast. Look at Pronger

He's not out there that often against Stamkos and St. Louis, so that's not a concern.
Yeah who cares if he can be more efficient. Just let the other guy do it and not even attempt to notice that its an upgrade
OD is better then Walker. OD has been pefect because Mez & OD have allowed the Flyers to roll 3 pairing and all average around 20-23 minutes a night so Pronger and Kimo aren't getting worn out. Come playoff time I can see both Pronger and Kimo's minutes going up so the #6 dman will be less to worry about. OD doesn't get beat too often because he knows his limits and he understands how to read plays as they develop plus he has Mezsaros as a partner who would be a 3-4 on most playoff teams.

Ok that makes sense. He can play in the AHL until he's back to 100% and then he can be called up
