we need MP to heal and get back in there. He was finally getting a his mojo going in the NHL.

Not overly worried about missing Cammy for a month. as long as MP isn't out long.

As for trading to replace them. it would be a bad idea. Those weren't season-ending injuries. Pacioretty and Cammalleri will return, probably before the trade deadline, and the Habs will be stuck with too many players on the roster and too much over the cap. Gauthier should instead bring up reinforcements from Hamilton.
lol OK...it was more of a question, i understand i'm not in Pacioretty's shoes. But i think it's a legit question to ask if the guy will be a little gun shy about screening the goalie.

L'Antichambre saying Pacioretty could play the game against the Ducks, and Camalleri out for 4 weeks, maybe a little bit less

Not surprised about Pacioretty's healing factor.

Only a heavy bruise and he had to be brought to the hospital in a stretcher? Seems a tad bit excessive. Must had had a real hard time breathing or something.

If Pacioretty would be back right after the All Star break I'd be elated. But to be back sooner than that is too good to be true. One can only hope.

I like Cammalleri.........when he's sniping. When he's not sniping though he's frustrating to watch. I hoping someone can step in there and maybe be a little more diversified even if they are not necessarily putting the puck in the net themselves.

Precautionary measure. You don't to have his rib cage broken and rupturing a lung or something. They made a wise decision.

Well, nice to hear patches didnt break anything.

All of these injury reports kinda seem like good news. Or maybe that's because we expect the worst after markov/gorges.

Any word on pouliot? Is he ready to go?

Cammy is not a bad playmaker...and as with any sniper, even in a slump, he is nice to have in the lineup because he can explode and score 3 at any time. I would sign him again at his contract in a heartbeat.

I would imagine laughing, sneezing or coughing would be quite painfull too.

Glad to hear it sounds like there is no fracture. He's been awesome for us since his call up.

Hopefully these injuries give something the Habs to rally around and when all the bodies come back we'll be good for a strong finish and hopefully some magic in the playoffs. I'm not giving up on this team just yet.

Cammalleri is now on IR. Clearly to make space for the two call ups.

I heard yesterday that you can count at least 2 more weeks after the all star break. So a safe bet would be betweeen the second and the third week of february

The good news is that it's not a leg injury, last year he really struggled for a month after coming back from the ankle injury...the 10 games after his return he went 0-2-2...luckily he got it back in the playoffs.

I haven't heard anything in the past couple of days, I would say about 2 more weeks after the ASG

Is Cammalleri coming back earlier?

I noticed that White and Engqvist have been sent down. I know its the all star games now.

Why send them down if we could use 1 or the other Monday. Unless Pyatt goes back into the lineup. Any news of Cammalleri coming back early?

It would be nice to get him back early. To get us going for the stretch after the allstar break.

Perhaps White was sent down because it's the NHL all star break, and we haven't played since Tuesday. Not to mention the savings on the cap.
