Briere and Giroux combined for 5 points. Most since Leclair, Lindros, Hawerchuk & Coffey combined for 8 points in '97.

Giroux had the lowest TOI of anyone. And had the same score line as the MVP

Yes. . . Letang was AWESOME. The only time I noticed him on D was his atrocious turnover for Towes goal

THAT says something right there. Should've had him on the ice more.

To be fair, Sharp only had 14 seconds more ice time.

They changed the boxscore, Giroux only getting credit for 1 assist now.

So I just found out the hard way that the All-Star game does not start at 7:30 as I had thought. Was it a good one?

If you like goals, yes.
If you like defense, no.
If you like goaltending, maybe.

Some wicked goals scored (Kopitar, St. Louis, Briere especially).

All-Star weekend is fun and all...but I cannot wait for Tuesday night to get back to real hockey, and espcially Flyers hockey.

Kane on a line with Briere. Imagine watching that for 82 games a year.
Defensively, they'd be a nightmare. But offensively, they'd be a lot of fun to watch.

I'd have a hard time rooting for Kane. The more I see of that guy the less I like him. He doesn't try to hide that he's a complete *******.

But yeah, those two would be something.

All I know about the Guardians thing is that one of the powers on the Lightning one was "Environmental Empathy."

Is this seriously what we've come to?

**** the environment.

Giroux had the lowest TOI of all forwards on Team Staal. Still got himself two points though. Down with the ASG.

I'm not a fan of Kane's either (nor was I during the leadup to that draft). But from the opposing blue line in, he's lethal. You just have to introduce him to his goalie every day.

Wow.

I think Carolina did a fantastic job of hosting the all-star game, but that may be pushing it a bit.

Has there ever been a "fight" in ASG? Would've been awesome if Briere and Giroux had dropped the gloves rock-paper-scissors. Oh well, maybe next year.
