Damn the game ended as kopitar got the puck with an empty net sabotage!

if Kopi scored 1 more he would have been MVP. But Lidstrom will get it because it may be his last All Star Game

Sharp?

He didn't even play on the winning team. What a joke.

Who cares it's a meaningless game, Kopitar led all Team Lidstrom forwards in ice time btw.

Kopitar could have scored 6 goals and he still wouldn't have been the mvp.

You might be right, but since when is Patrick Sharp a huge fan favorite?

Came to say that Kopi totally got hosed on the MVP selection. He was easily the best forward out there. Loved how he and Eriksson toyed with Price(?) on his second goal.

Wow, it didn't feel that way. The whole time I felt he wasn't getting enough ice time. I guess it's cause I'm biased and want to see him out there all the time. Go Kings!!

Staal was the only forward on either team with more ice time than Kopi.

So that's what it's like when Kopitar plays with a skilled winger? Kind of puts things into perspective when he has some talent around him that can get him the puck, connect with passes and make plays.

Wonder if Lombardi was thinking the same thing.

That was just the All Star Game...... the defender didn't even tried to play defense.
At this stage everyone looks good with skilled wingers

You mean that Kessel fella who kept shooting the puck into the chest of the goalies...ya.

If Kessel had scored on half his decent chances set up by Kopi he would had had a handful of assists.

Kessel was playing the part of Dustin Brown. I'm talking more of what Kopitar did when he was on the ice with Duchene or Eriksson. Granted, the D was non-existent in these games, it is still evident that Kopitar's skills are better exhibited when he has a talented winger who can put the puck on his stick.

Favorite part of the AS Weekend was watching the goalies do the fastest skater competition. Loved it. Watching Thomas get down as low as possible to try to get an edge was hilarious. I was shocked to find out that Mike Gartner still holds the record for fastest skater. So much for all the hype about how much faster these guys are today when the record has stood for well over 10 years.
