Ditto. I never figured they'd put him on re-entry because of the rift with him and the coaching staff. Let's snag him and save ourselves a deadline acquisition.

Seabrook is the defenceman the Hawks have to keep.

If Seabrook wants a big raise he should pursue that elsewhere. I dont see the Hawks giving him that much money and honestly, I dont see what he's done this season that with make him worth spending that much money on.

Facts that he will come up with
- Olympic Gold
- 23 Points in 44 GP --> ~42 Point Season
- (and for the mention) Plays 1st PP Unit
Seabrook should be re-signed to a 5 year, $23.75M deal.

4.25M in 11-12, 4.5M in 12-13, 4.5M in 13-14, 5M in 14-15, and then 5.5M in 15-16.

All the things mentioned are facts, but he was the 7th Dman in the olympics by the end and made the team because he's Keith's partner for the familiarity. His 26 points in 50 GP aren't that impressive when you do consider he's getting top PP time on the best PP unit in the NHL this year.

Hawks should re-sign him. Don't see why they wouldn't. I've noticed more turnovers from him, but that could just be him being lazy or careless.

Hahaha, no not by any means is that forgivable, but the turnovers aren't because he sucks.
