I was just coming to post this. They have an Anchor Bar in Rochester (not nearly as good as the real one, I might add) and were showing this. I really miss the fast-paced style of those days.

I watched the game and felt so good watching a team with that much talent representing Buffalo. Then I felt sad because large parts of what made that team great are gone.

Was one of the few Sabre games I've seen in person in Buffalo over the past 10 years. Breathtaking. Unreal.

The Campbell hit on Umberger sort of set the stage for the Briere goal. Unforgettable.

Does anyone know if this game will be aired again soon? I missed it, but I know NHL Network usually shows the same game a number of times in a course of a couple days.

I would trade all of the players we kept, for all of the players we let go.. in a heartbeat (obviously excluding miller, ennis, gerbe, myers, kaleta, roy)

That was the year I fell in love if you will with the Sabres. That was my first playoff game ever, and one of the best, and at the same time most nerve wracking game I've ever been to. I'll never forget it. I still have the ticket somewhere too.
