Thursday morning's commute is going to suck, too. If temps are in the high 30's, then some of this snow will melt to go along with the rain. Then Thurday temps are suppose to go back down to like 27. Ugh. Lol

There is still so much uncertainty with this storm.

I'm really trying to get a grasp on all these models and the information I'm finding, but it's confusing the hell out of me.

MM5 is showing all snow for NYC...Not sure if that really makes any sense.

The MM5 shows a full transfer below 40N thus allowing NNJ/NENJ/NEPA/NYC and surrounding areas to stay all or mostly frozen.

There's a chance for sure...depends what we get. Sure seems like we'll be getting enough precipitation.

Jack pot area looks to be Albany, for snow that is. Central and Southern Jersey may end up being the only areas to see much rain.

Haha, that's the problem! If we do end up with 0.25" or more of ice it's gonna be a total **** show. You can't shovel it, you can't plow it, you can't do anything but get drunk and skate on it!

In all seriousness though, ice storms are no joke -- you don't want one. It doesn't matter what type of car/truck you have, no one gets traction on solid ice. Trees fall, roofs cave in, power (and heat) go out... it's not a good situation.

So, now it's an ice storm? Any predictions for North NJ?

It's nothing yet, it's still up in the air. North Jersey should see decent snow though as well as ice.

Interesting. We've been pounded with snow all winter, we have piles all over the place, still.

I'm very curious to see how places with tons of snow already will deal with the additional snow, if there is additional snow.

Sorry, I caught him while vacationing on the Seafoam Islands. When I got home, I took him out of his Pokeball to show everybody then he flew away and I think he used Ice Beam.

All snow in NYC, does that mean snow on LI, too?

Sorry to ask again, but are any of the models showing central NJ (piscataway specifically) getting hit?
