I have always thought nashville would be a good fit for Parise. I think if Weber is locked down to a multi year deal maybe Suter could convince Parise to come to Nashville.

Would New Jersey be interested in package Blum, Pickard, Dumont/Sullivan, and 1st for Parise and Rolston?

Jersey has Parise and that's about it. Maybe this year's first but it goes along the same path.

That's your opinion but I'd take our prospect pool over the Wilds any day of the week.

The whole purpose of trading Parise would be to get a top-tier defenseman in return. As in, one of Weber or Suter needs to be coming back to New Jersey.

That, or every last one of your bluechip prospects.

Blum would be considered blue chip and pickard needs a change of system...

Burns or Koivu as the centerpieces. Not together obviously but in separate deals

Would be awesome having Koviu and Zajac as a 1-2 Selke quality punch down the middle.

His cap hit is kind of annoying though

Another thread where a team wants Parise but doesn't want to give us anything in return. Here's my proposal:

Parise to the Devils in exchange for 6 years, 36 million dollars.

I don't think Wild fans want him for scraps. I mean, it's not like they've been making ****** trade proposals in this thread or started it.

So their best 2 players and their first for your superstar and salary dump? I don't root for either of the teams, but needwise and valuewise a

Burns
Backstrom

for

Parise
Rolston

seems decent enough.

Why do the Devils want a 32 yr old goalie when their 38 yr old will likely play another season and backstrom will be going on 34 by the time Marty retires ?

Because the 32 year old goalie is actually good and will likely play for several years more.

Burns for Parise straight up would still be hard for me to swallow, because we'd be really thin on defense. A good defensive specialist, a good offensive specialist, and a whole bunch of rookies. Meanwhile if we got one quality top six forward (not Parise obviously), we should be able to do damage in the playoffs (mainly because we've been lacking our top goal scorer all year due to injury).

Nah Minnesota has nothing I really want except Burns but his injuries scare me.

And we don't need two goalies eating up 11mil in cap space.

I would definitely do Burns straight up for Parise. I would even add. 30 goal scorer, native, who puts up close to 90 points. It leaves us with terrible defense but that is something you can fix in the offseason.

Seems to be common knowledge amongst non-Wild fans. How many more months will it take for the truth to replace the false information? This is HF, so maybe never, I suppose. Info about his "concussion" problems spread like herpes, why isn't it the same way for a sinus infection?

Yawwwwwwn.

Another day, another Chariot anti-NJD wetdream of Parise leaving town.

Of course, when he does re-rup long-term with the Devils, the dreamers will be nowhere to be found.

Funny (and predictable) how that works.

Because the Wild apparently have no fans on HF. Or not.

He hasn't played over 80 games in the past few seasons only playing 47 and 59 games the past two seasons. It's not like he is missing one or two games each season he is missing a major part of each of the past two seasons.
