Who is your team's salary dump?
I've seen a lot of trade proposals on here that include a "salary dump" in brackets, and often that player is not even close to being a salary dump in reality.
Come the deadline, who would you consider a salary dump on your team? Please include the salary and years remaining if possible...
EDIT: OK so far...
Toronto: Komisarek
Oilers: Horcoff, Souray
Philly: Shelley, Carcillo
Rangers: Drury
Boston: Ryder
San Jose: Huskins, Wallin, Mitchell
New Jersey: Elias, Rolston
Anyone else?

Just looking at the cap, I'd say Rolston at $5M and Elias at $6M.
But, they've been playing stupendously of late

Oilers say: Horcoff, Soury, Strudwick.
I say: hell take the whole team, minus a few

Shelley, Carcillo perhaps
Leighton and Walker are in the AHL, but I'm sure Mr. Snider doesn't want to be spending money on them.

Strudwick isn't a salary dump. Unless you think his $725K salary is holding our team back from signing a big name.

Rangers = Cap'n 4 Assists.
Our other one is the team chaperone in the AHL during road trips, but, out of sight is out of mind.

Lecavalier would soon have to be on this wouldn't he?
24 Goals last year..8 goals this year...both while making 10 million each year...(7.7cap hit) and a LOT more years to go

Sharks:
Huskins (1.7m, UFA end of season)
Wallin (2.5m, UFA end of season, NTC)
Mitchell (1.4m, UFA in 2012)
That's about it, Shark's are not real bad off with any contract. Those are the only players we might 'dump' for little to no return.

Noone on the Avs.
Well, okay. I guess Matt Hunwick at a cap hit of 1,45 million $ just because he sucks.
He won't be dumped though because Sacco seems to be in love with him.

I may be in the minority for Blues fans but
McDonald at a 4.7 million cap hit
Boyes 4 million cap hit.
They both are decent but IMO over paid by 500,000-1 million a year.

I agree, but only over paid by 500,000 ? Add another 1 mill to each

Blake and Sutton. I think that's about all, maybe Lupul although if he bounces back from his injury and regains his 25 goal form he's not too badly overpaid.

We love Gill for his playoff excellence and Gomez is impossible to trade. Salary dumps would be...
Roman Hamrlik
Jaroslav Spacek
Andrei Kostitsyn
In that order.

Michael Nylander plays in Finland I think, so we don't have one right now. Tom Poti doesn't make enough to where it's unbearable.

this isn't about if they're actually tradeable. If you could trade them, would you for salary purposes. Gomez falls into that category.

The Canucks have no salary dumps. Mikael Samuelsson comes to mind but he's a playoff performer anyways and a guy with experience and a locker room guy we'd like to keep around and he's not that expensive. But yeah, if I had to pick, him.
