Yeah, personally i would be ecstaic to get to the SCF and lose. Philly has a good team no doubt, - someone might have had a 44 ounce glass of haterade this morning

That's true. If the Flyers thought they had a legitimate chance at retaining Bryzgalov they would certainly move people to make it happen. But with Bobrovsky expected to develop and Eriksson waiting in the wings, I'm not sure that is in Holmgren's long term plans.

With Niemi winning the Cup last year and Leighton as the other SCF goalie, I just don't see the value of a goalie being anywhere near what it was a few years ago.

Plus why don't people at least give Bobrovsky a chance b4 saying he can't carry a team.

Remember who was Bryzgalov a few years ago. a guy who Burke could'nt even get a late rd pk for. Sometimes it takes a goalie a few years to find himself. Maybe Bobrovsky is the next Bryzgalov.

Philly is not getting, contemplating, discussing, or any other word to describe a plan for trading for a goalie. We went to the SC with boosh and mr 5 hole. Boosh is little more consistent this year, and bob is a much bigger improvement or michael. I really like mike, however, bob could possibly be the real deal. Plus, with this defense, I could play goalie and give us a chance to win. We are stacked. We will only add a more talented player to richie's line. That's it. Someone to help that line be more dangerous and to help special teams. No goalie. No dman. Rental vet winger.

Well, maybe a conditional 1st with the condition being the Flyers win the Cup.
You wouldn't trade Bobrovsky for Bryzgalov? I would definitely sign up for that deal if I was the Flyers.

If it was straight up, then I would have to think about that. Especially if he were to resign. But still, it would be a tough one to do. I realy like bob's future.

boucher's future looked great 10 years ago as well, as did a number of goalies. If there was a way to get the phoenix rushkie for the flyers rushkie 1 for 1, anyone that wouldnt make that trade is clueless.
