Wouldn't be at all surprised if Rupp does exactly that against us, it seems he always plays well against the Rangers.
I'm never going with an "easy-win" approach, Pittsburgh with or without Crosby/Malkin is still just as dangerous because the Rangers have notoriously failed in situations where they could have acquired points easier than regularly.
Very excited that this team is getting healthy again, and the fact that Pittsburgh is at its most injury riddled means it is even more crucial to get the W.
When our team is fully healthy again, and we are back to having a logjam at forward, does Drury get press box action? Horrible contract aside, he doesn't bring anything to the table that you don't already get from other players, plus those players contribute offensively as well. No doubt from a playing standpoint, he deserves to be the odd man out when we are healthy down the stretch, but from a PR standpoint, how bad does it look when your captain is a healthy scratch for a prolonged period? Do you think the coaching staff/upper management has the guts to embarrass our captain (even though it is completely justified)?
Just want to hear your thoughts guys, because even though icing the best possible roster has him being a scratch, I don't think the team does it...
