Habs @ Caps 7.30 RDS-TSN

Tonight, two titans will clash!

Yes, it is The Capital Versus The Canadien

The Villain

To assist him in his undercover activities, the Capital possesses the ability of shape shifting, which is a necessity for a 7-foot eagle trying to blend in with the crowd.

The Capital takes the form of a giant half-man, half bird. He's roughly 7 feet tall and his wingspan is twice that. He has the head and feet of an Eagle and the arms and hands of a human. He can soar to incredible heights and possesses the ability of telescopic sight allowing him to pinpoint objects from well over 30,000 feet. He also has a sonic scream that can physically destroy objects and bad guys.

He has jets strapped to his boots, inside the housing of the boots he has both hockey blades (for travelling across ice) and in-line skates (for everything else) that, when he fires off his rocket boots allow him to zip around town at incredible speeds. The Canadien has the ability of both Power Augmentation and Power Absorption, meaning he can copy the powers of any of the other Guardians as long as he's within a few miles of them. Through the use of Power Augmentation, the Canadien can also enhance the powers of his Guardian teammates. Just as in the NHL, all the teams are excellent in their own unique way, but all of them are made a little more valuable by the presence of the Montreal Canadien.

Fehr and Poti out. Semin is a game time decision. He's been out for awhile so this would be his first game back if he plays..

Varly first off the ice at practice.

CHamps seems to be running late with our GDT. So if there are any volunteers willing to make one up. Please feel free to do so.

Oh I know. But it happened once or twice recently, and we had to live with the bootleg.

I have a good feeling for this one.

Subban will man-handle Ovechkin tonight. He can't stomach the White Russian having stolen the Breakaway Prize.

He will then have a standing ovation for a welcome at the Bell Center.

GO HABS!

Ovechkin looked....Not himself on the weekend. Something's not clicking right in that guy's head right now. (knock on wood that me saying that doesn't coincide with his re-awakening).

I hope we win but....The Habs have to come out flying and get the first goal!!!! If they sit back and get scored on first, then it's good night from me and it's good night from him. We have to be desperate going down the stretch, with both Carolina and Atlanta (I predicted Atl would make the playoffs) breathing down our necks, there is no to time to sit back. GO HABS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!
