Yep. Especially in OT... Ovechkin was barely able to touch the puck.

Great play by OV. You don't **** with that guy, too big and athletic. Subban needs to get his head up bad, he plays with the puck too much.

Ovie probably was trying to figure out why Subban was dominating him for the rest of the night and so lost his concentration for the shootout.

More seriously, two very good players (Ovie ++ as of now), and a great battle all night long.

yeah, jumping is never good in hockey, even if he got the best of ovie, leaving his feet is still a charge.

Pretty sure Ovechkin was completely ineffective all game and Subban got matched up against him.

Enjoy hating on him though!

Are YOU FOR REAL? The fact that Subban had his head up is the reason why he was able to jump and partially avoid the hit. If he had his head down, he would've been destroyed.

And Alexander Ovechkin meets Carey Price in the shootout.

Man what happened to Ovi? He was a complete non-factor the entire game. He kept trying the same move over and over. He's not as dynamic as he used to be and no longer instills the same fear he used to when he had the puck.

Nice to see Subban bring it to him after the hit. In fact, Subban challenged Ovechkin twice. Ovechkin responded by facewashing PK when he(Subban) had his back turned.

Nice hit by OV, but Subban and the Habs get the last laugh by once again completely containing and frustrating him.

I thought they would have met when PK shook Ovie's hand after the Caps blew game 7 in the playoffs? Maybe they weren't formally introduced.

He had his head up, haha, he saw it coming.

A beauty hit though, Subban went flying haha. I don´t think there is a hockey fan who doesn´t like open ice hip checks.

It looks to me like Ovechkin has an affinity towards Subban, since the all-star game. Or maybe he just likes the Habs in general. That could have degenerated.. yet it didn't. Ovie just brushed him off and went to the bench. I'm Subban's biggest supporter but he should have taken the hit and crawled back to the bench instantly. He did look like a rookie out there tonight during that incident. His immaturity wil show sometimes, no biggie. I'm surprized he went after Ovie like that though...
