Price LOVES shootouts. You can see how motivated he gets one-on-one.

I was surprised.. but was not outrage about it.

Boucher, in two straight shootouts, did not use Stamkos, Lecavalier and St. Louis in his first 3.. and I think the Lightning won both shootout.

Sometimes you want to try someone else.

Yep, for once, the refs was "on" our side for once.

Subban plays with his head down too much? I CAN'T BELIEVE THE STUPIDITY I'M READING! I think I'll have to lay off HF tonight or else I'll be getting hit with an infraction real soon.

Habs always have to make things difficult. Never ever shoot down Gio. He's pobabaly the hardest worker on the team night in and night out. I was ecstatic when the Habs got him.

The Habs won, Gomez played well... on l'Antichambre, they take a huge undeserved dump on Gomez, seeing things from one specific perspective only, ignoring what he brings, with no one being objective.

I don't think I've ever heard them bash a French player. Who woulda thought Tremblay would be the voice of reason there?

I am glad the guys pulled it out, we need every point we can get.Gionta, Pleks played well, as did Subban and Price. I would like to give most honorable mention to Scott Gomez. I thought he distributed the puck really well and won some crucial battles along the boards in the Caps end.

I'm far from a fan of Gomez.. but no way he was invisible tonight.

When his line was on the ice, they were almost always on the offensive zone.

The criticism of Gionta is despicable. It really is. The one forward, besides Pleks that brings it every night. He's got the most goals on the team and people are bashing him? I like everything he does. Goes to the net, shoots all the time, works hard, feisty, etc.

Just don't go to the main board.

I go there and check the thread titles to see if something happened. Otherwise, I stay here, in the Lounge and in Geek Emporium Main Board is a trollfest.

On a different note, Will Ferrell has to play the role of Ben Rothlesberger in a movie.

Great gutsy performance by the team, especially for Gionta, Pleks, and Price.

However, this game also highlights how badly this team needs more viable scoring options up front, as well as how brutal our powerplay is.

Forget Phillips, we need another winger who can score, preferably one that's good on the Power Play.
