That was the widest 5 hole I've ever seen on a shootout.

... Hahaha they lose because of a lucky toe save.

And there is the story of the 2010-11 Los Angeles Kings.

Kings lose. Great offense by Murray tonight. Keep it to the outside and hope for something good.

Why does TM always put Brown on the shoot out in such an important spot. Zues would be a better choice.

It would be lucky if the goalie wasn't trying to make the save. That was a brilliant save, no luck.

You seem to think Dallas is good because of luck and the Kings are bad because of luck.

Strange.

I think your more pathetic then the forwards.

Honestly the whining and minging on this thread is ridiculous. Have none of you ever watched hockey? What you think this is a ****ing video game? Good hockey is team hockey and that's what we played. You don't play defense then you're going to lose if you play defense then you can win. Simple as that.

Got a point and that's all that matters.

Johnson is now 1-6 this season. Guess it is true that Murray doesn't pay attention to stats and just keeps sending out the same top 3. Too bad Murray hasn't figured out that Quick is the reason for the good SO success.

Backstrom knew that Kopi was going to do the Forsberg move, he didnt even flinch on that fake.

Backstrom got lucky with Johnson's shot

Brown is just a fail at Shootouts, Stoll or Handzus should replace his spot

... Look, I know at this point, in your mind, the Kings are all things bad and you want the regime to change. I get it. But if you look at Dallas's wins and the Kings' losses this season, there's an unusual amount of luck at play there.

Of course Backstrom was trying to make the save. It was a desperation effort by a beaten goalie, and the puck just happened to hit the pad over the skate. It was lucky.
