He's obviously dealing with something major here. You don't stay sick that long with the Flu. Even H1N1.
Its pretty crass of some posters getting all uppity about his trade value and debating his merits as a hockey player, when his career or life could hang in the balance. We don't know what it is, but assume its serious. Worry about Souray's trade value if you've got nothing better to do.

Don't get so uppity about the seriousness of the illness when you don't have any idea of what's affecting him.
Maybe other people aren't quite as pessimistic and assume his immune system disorder is making an average flu worse. Maybe the organization is being cautious with Souray's "rushed back from injury" allegations. Maybe they're keeping him on the I.R. to keep a roster spot open for Omark/Reddox.
He's been on the I.R. for a month. Why would you just automatically assume his career is over, or that he's dying?...
