THink of it this way, if you respawned instantly, there would be endless guys coming down the field. You need waves of them in order for the game to feel real. COD doesn't make things really real to me. For example, if they would have got rid of the Commando Perk where you can attack melee from a distance, the game would be better. But they made things WAY too unrealistic. Also, the time the helicopters come out should only be out for 20-30 seconds, not 2-3 minutes.
You won't get any argument that the perks do make the game a little less realist, but overall I would still prefer MW2 over MAG. Maybe when the final version comes out i may have a different opinion, but right now it is a game i would probably pass on.

Understandable. I'm quite surprised at how MAG turned out for me. I seriously thought the graphics would suck and the lack of environment would make this game crappy, but they didn't disappoint so far imo.
