I'm out, time to eat dinner and catch up on The Office. I knew there was a slim chance in hell of us winning this one. Happy tanking ya'll!

Mr. Tallon, It's about time to start movin' and shakin'.

You have to love how unclutch this team is. Down two? Sure we'll get one. Down one? Let's not even get in the zone.

I am officially on the tankwagon. Some fans may think I'm crazy because we're 7 points out of 8th with two games in hand, but we've seen this all before over the past ten seasons. Playoffs are not going to happen. So, why be disappointed in March when they're officially eliminated when you could give up now? Hopefully Tallon is getting ready to make them sellers so we have something to believe in next season with a hopefully better shot at the postseason.

Also, great to see Timmins get his first NHL goal. I see some potential in that kid for the future.

Oh, and I guess I should come up with something for a tank avatar now eh?

By the way, Alex Auld is now 4-0-4 against us.

Beavis & Butthead are actually saying that the game against the Devils on Friday is now imperative. As if anyone even believes it matters, anymore.

Yeah, I just shook my head in dismay when hearing that. I'm sure off-camera they have us much faith in the team making the playoffs as we do, but they have to keep the rah-rah fans optimistic as professional broadcasters as painful as it probably is for them to do.

You would be crazy to think otherwise.

There is not enough talent on this team to make the playoffs unless Carolina & Atlanta both suffer a plague of critical injuries.

Which would lead to Buffalo making the playoffs.

Bryan Allen, please leave. At the beginning of the week I would have taken a late 2nd or early 3rd rounder...now a bag of pucks will suffice.

Weaver is awesome. He was on the ice for virtually every d zone draw and he makes important subtle plays every shift.

I happen to like Garrison, hell i did not think the Florida d was particularly bad at all.

Chris Higgins will not have to shower after the game I see him out of the league in 2-3 years. This team has professional players but lacks overall top end talent which I am sure will not surprise you guys. Teams like this rarely make the playoffs.

ugh. tough one. tuned in at 1-1. bad turnover at the defensive blue line led to the go-ahead goal. all the hab's goals were grimey, crease goals. story of this team's season. i don't know how you can watch the team and not pull for them but they just aren't getting the bounces. (tbh, they are missing the net a fair amount of the time which is working against them, obviously).

Why the call out of Higgins? If anyone on that line it was Frolik who had an awful game.

Frolik may not have been able to do anything but Higgins never took a stride in anger. Just a flat line player. I know there a good number of NHLers that play this way, never work if you can get away with it, but he's not good enough to play this way.

Weaver and Garrison are so underrated. When you consider their cap hit they're a steal.

I'm really happy with the play of Ellerby. He has surprised me with his physical play. That hit last night was PERFECT and something we rarely see from a Panther d-man. He seems to have a bit of an issue getting caught flat footed but that can be fixed.

There are plenty of seats. I think we're really starting our decline. I wouldn't be surprised to only get ten more wins out of the rest of the season. Really excited for the trade deadline.
