Tough test, we need to back on the winning track. PIT is only 1 point behind us and now VAN has 75 points. Have to come out ready from the drop of the puck, which hasn't been our strong suit lately.

Just gonna say, (and I know the mods are gonna watch this conversation) it wasnt all a rumor. One of the guys who works in my Dad's group, his son is best friends with Richie. They have a house at the beach with another person. Lets just say he said, it wasnt all rumors. (wont go further so I wont get my post deleted lol)

That being said, glad that Bob is in net. Hope he rebounds.

I feel like MSE... How's this for a random fact?

The Flyers and Nashville Predators have made more trades with each other (17) than they have played games against each other. Thursday's game at the Wells Fargo Center against the Preds will be the 14th time the Flyers have faced them.

to MSE for the awesome song choice.

I'm putting my 6-0 2010-11 season attendance record on the line tonight by attending. Let's Make It Seven... wins for me.

I'll also be there next Thursday as my son will be a Mite on Ice.

Let's go, Flyers! Win it for Bobby Clarke.

They must have read the scouting report that says we make backups look like Patrick Roy

Yeah, no kidding. On the positive side, I don't have to struggle on whether to start Rinne in my pool tonight.

It's Mr. Clarke night. I'm hoping that I get the Flyers feed on TV tonight to see the banner ceremony. I saw an interview with him, where he said it's nice to be honoured but those numbers hanging in the rafters should be worn, and that those teams back then were good but nothing so special (!) that deserved retiring a jersey number.

Truth. I found that surprising as well as when Clarke said that he thinks Barry Ashbee's number should be the lone exception and stay retired.

I did too. But it just makes me appreciate Clarke, Bernie, and the rest of the Broad Street Bullies even more - immense success tempered with humility. I think those boys would enjoy seeing the Flyers win a Stanley Cup as much as the players who win it.

LOL - Benny, I said I hope... I don't know if I'll get it or not.

It served two purposes: Clarkie and the only game against Nashville this regular season. Jason Bonham on drums.

I used to come home from high school and put that, namely Wasting My Time, on my (cringes at dating himself) Yorx record player on volume 10. It would help me get the day off me and be able to do my homework.

I bought the tape soon after for my Walkman and listened to that, RP's Now & Zen, and Bonham's The Disregard of Timekeeping - along with my Genesis, Rush, and Led Zeppelin tapes.

Give us Giroux, Carter, Briere, or Richards and either of them would lead our team in points for the season. 5-1 Philly im predicting. Great GDT btw and I would wish you all luck but i dont think you will need it.

Hartnell and Leino also have more points than any of our players so far this year.

A friend of mine just said to me, "Okay, gotta leave now so I can get to the game. I only hope the Flyers do the same."

I'd say that about says it after Tuesday. Just show up and play hard, Flyers...after that debacle, you need to make a statement and win a game.
