CBC could be doing a HNIC triple header. Other than that, I don't know the reason for the odd start time.

I don't care that the game is in Montreal or in the afternoon. Anything less than points is not okay at this point. We need to further ourselves from 8th place.

With that said, let's score some goals and shut up that obnoxious Montreal crowd. LGR!

This is by far the biggest game of the year so far. Even though they beat us 2x I do not think they are better. Lets continute to get healthier, which doesn't only mean get guys back, but also get guys performing. Hopefully Vinny and MDZ can help our PP. We need these 2 points boys, I don't care how we get them.

Unfortunately I have a lax scrimmage tomorrow at 12 so hopefully I come home to a lead and can watch the 2nd and 3rd periods. LFGR!

We lost to the Islanders too.

I agree, the Habs aren't a very good team at all.

Habs made it to the ECF last season and are ahead of NY this season, beating them twice. Until proven otherwise, they are the better team.

I don't know how you can say that? They're 6th place in the East with two of their top-4 defenseman out for the season.

Hopefully this game is a great one... last one I'll be able to watch on MSG for the season, going back to school on Sunday out of the area. Let's see if Prospal can spark this team big time - he actually looked great in his first game of the season. LGR!!

They got 6th place because we've been slumping. Pretty sure they also have a cup-cake schedule this month. I certainly think we're better than them.

And that ECF was a fluke. That was all on Halak.

Cammaleri: 13 goals

Pretty sure that guy was a huge factor as well. And then you have team defensive effort, and yes, I'm referring to "the trap".

I just don't see how the Canadiens "aren't good at all"? I don't like them, but they're a solid team with a solid roster.

Going deep into the playoffs and winning two game 7's against two of the best Eastern Conference teams isn't a fluke, in my opinion.

That was last year, so who cares? I don't now.

I didn't mean "aren't good at all" really, but I meant I think we're better than them. Obviously they're a solid squad. I just don't think they're 6th in the east good.

Also their trap wouldn't have been nearly as effective if Halak wasn't a brick wall...look what happened when Halak cooled down. They get destroyed by Philly. Halak was stopping 30+ shots, IIRC. 40+ on some nights. I'd bet money they won't sniff the ECF for a while after that.

It's not like Philly's a joke, though

Rangers haven't impressed me in day games so far this season. I feel like Montreal is a hard place to play. This could easily go horribly wrong, but then again the chemistry could also work itself out, and there could be a Rangers goal outburst.

Habs 3

Rangers 5

Zucca, Prospal, Staal, Dubi, Sauer
