The real story for me is Gomez vs. his old team.

Man, what a goal he scored. Probably one of his finest with the Habs thus far.

I agree on Subban as well. The kid is a special talent.

pens have won 5 in a row, but teams better start vulturing around them. it's unacceptable to let them win with no malkin, crosby and testube. come on other teams!

Sick that we're riding a good 2nd half given our depleted lineup.

The real dirty hit was the Boyle one on Spacek, should of had a 5min and expulsion + suspension.

Stupid zebras...

the 08/09 team crumbled with the injuries.

It really is a wonder how the habs can maintain this play, but its a testament to the coaching staff and the guys brought up from the farm.

You think about the combined ice time that is on the shelf especially on defense. Its staggering that their defensive game hasn't missed a beat.

Maybe Gomez read the thread on the main board that said the Gomez/McDonagh trade was one of the most lopsided in NHL history.

Watching the post-game comments on the Habs website and at first glance I thought Carey's hat said "speedraping.com" but it's speedroping

AK should line up some frozen pucks on their studio floor and aim wrist shots between their upper and lower lips, the way competitors in the skills competition do with their targets.

Cbc showed a different angle of the akosts hit that made it look not dirty at all. IMO it looked like Akost made contact with Sauers shoulder/side as Sauer was turning, i dont think it should have been a penalty but i fully understand why the ref called it. I just wish players would stop putting themselves in stupid positions like that.

Well at least AK kinda had his revenge on Kurt Sauer's brother..

I remember I was like "Holy ****!" when I saw it live. He was totally lost.

I don't know about that. He's been invisible against the Habs. Maybe the Habs have his number but there isn't much there I'd want for that price tag.
