Like CG said, this game is a measuring stick. Let's show them what we're made of.
This is not a measuring stick game; The Flyers and Stars don't have to prove anything they are where they are because they've played well and consistent so far this season; so this game is a battle between two great teams.
a measuring stick game is when a lower seeded team brings their "A" game against a top team to assess where they stand. Ultimately they're trying to prove to their fans, themselves and the League that they're capable of competing with top teams.

A good win tonight please! Dont want it to be another panic attack fest again. And i feel damn sorry for Malkin personally, echoing the sentiment of a few other posters on here, I tore my ACL when I was 15 and it took me about a year to get near to the standard I was before (in waterpolo and rugby), and it still gives me a hard time sometimes 5 years later, cant imagine both ACL and MCL going at once. Back on topic: Lets go Flyers!
