Luckiest shootout win I've ever seen. 3 posts for Calgary while 3 Kings players don't even get a shot off.

Kopitar needs to go see a confidence coach. We're 5-0-1 in our last six, and our most important player has been invisible offensively.

That save where he had to throw his hand back to save it was unbelievable. Most goalies would have let it hit off his glove and then just stop thinking it was over.

17-0-0 when leading after 2.

Stoll, Handzus and Williams for the win. Shoot the puck!

I feel much better with the win and the layoff before the game on Thursday. This loss would have hurt.

He needs to see a faceoff coach...he lost a couple critical faceoffs tonight. One of which led to a goal.

Also big ups to Stoll/Zeus for scoring in the SO after they had their best two score. A lot of teams let the home team score first and then just fold.

Probably should have won in regulation, but that was a huge win. Hopefully they rewind in LA or a few days and go into Pittsburgh with confidence.

He was on the bench. Nothing wrong with him. Coach's decision to shorten the bench.

I liked Glen Healy's comment when Johnson shot in shootout... "Is anyone aware that Justin Williams has 3pts this game, and they throw in a dman"?
and when Williams finally shot, "finally someone realized after 8 shooters that Justin Williams has 3 pts this game"
Good call.

He (Loktionov) had a pretty good game when I was watching? A couple shifts he literally took over, you can see that this kid just needs confidence and he's got the potential to be a Pavel Datsyuk..

Exactly, getting in deep on Kiprusoff meant failure in the shootout. Doughty for example should have fired it from maybe 8 feet out, but he just took it in much too close. Kopitar might consider doing the same in future shootouts, Johnson also has been more successful in the shootout in the past whenever he has shot before skating it in too far.

Too bad we probably won't be in the Top 8 for long since the two teams directly below us play on Monday. Oh well.

Flames are a good team, but I think the Kings played a little wonky due to the crowd during the last half of the 3rd. Hopefully we can capitalize on the Penguins' injuries and get a huge W on Thursday.
