Patrice Brisebois on Ça finit bien la soirée

I don't know if it will be available on Illico or online, but a bad interview (because the 2 girls know obv nothing about hockey and probably can't tie their shoes, but wtv) swith Breezer where he shows to everybody why he is a class act and how he dealt with the booing and everything.

I know he spoke about the subject in the past, but this segment was very interesting and he seemed very genuine.

I wasn't in love with the player, but Patrice Brisebois is a great guy.

I'm pretty sure it will be on Illico sur demande.

When he talked about when he was booed, I kinda laughed... He still looked a little bit mad about it.

That was a good interview overall despite both girls.

Well, you're talking about this show with "les deux cruches vides comme animatrices"?

This show is beyond bad!

Anyway, the booing was toward him making big money for a role he shouldn't have earned (top 1-2 d-man). I believe (I didn't watch the show for obvious reason) he said something like "those booing where those not making a lot of money and not having success in there career", correct me if I'm wrong (I saw the advertisement on TVA this morning), but if it the case, I say complete BS. He was doing a lot of turnovers while getting money of a guy that should be reliable defensively. I'm not a hater of him, but I believe this is the reality.

Its funny to see Brisebois asking his players to play hard when he was one of the most lazzy guys in the NHL, effraid to go in the corners.. How the hell take him seriously as a coach..

I think it really started (if someone know better correct me) after the Mclaren hit on Zednik where Brisebois didn't even do a thing to at least reply to that hit, I think he had gone talk to Mclaren and alot of people were saying he should at least had fight.

For those interested...

Tampa Bay called up Marc-Andre Bergeron and he's expected to play tomorrow.

2 goals, 6 assists in 13 AHL games this year.

time for the Lightning to lose more games, courtesy of good ol' MAB.

I'd be pissed at management if I were Roloson.

He had to go. He just wasn't mature enough for a 20 year old.

Another waste talent because if the mismanagement/development.

I've defended AK a lot here but between AK and SK, SK would fit the Habs system better. With a better management of the brothers, a AK-Plek-SK would have been one hell of a line.

I never understood how management treated his case. How do you completely shove to the side and put so little effort in retaining a prospect as talented as he is?
Some fans think a little too highly of the Canadiens and are too damn sensitive, so anybody that rebels deserve the boot. But expected differently from the management.
SK had shown great skills, they knew he pretty much was our most skilled prospect up front. Although a lot of people like to say he was a distraction for his bro, true or not, they had undeniable chemistry when playing together.
When you just sat down to think about it, made a list of reasons why to trade him vs why to keep him, it was pretty clear that the best move would be to retain him.

I really believe this move set us back offensively. We had a clear opportunity to have both players play on the 2nd line last year to begin the year. They could have been centered by Plekanec. Sending him down was useless and ultimately resulted in us losing a top prospect for nothing.

Nice goal but it looked better than it was because the goalie stuck his stick out and deflected the puck up high. That said, the Habs organization have not had good management for many many years. The Bowman days were the last great management we had.

Did we get fleeced on the Sergei trade

We gave up Sergei for nothing and he currently has more points and goals than Andrei talk about that. He is better than Andrei........

We gained valuable cancer treatment in the locker room. It only takes one person with a bad attitude to bring the team down. Like when Cammy stops trying when we're losing.

Horrendous deal. The kid always was a player with a lot of talent. Just needed to be managed properly.
Habs tried, he was a distraction and needed to be moved. We and the Habs knew he could be a player, but it wasn't going to happen here. And in all reality SK had the Habs hands tied in any deal as the league knew the Habs were looking to trade the distraction and the asking price would be low.

This deal doesn't haunt us, he is in the West and Habs are doing fine without him.

I knew we would get that kind of answer... just like the Ribeiro trade, right, we didn't get fleeced.

As much as people wanted Sergei gone... there's no doubt that it was a brutal trade Boyd = AHL, Sergei = Top 6 forward.

That's what happens when you need to "get rid" of a player... the trades usually ended being very bad ones.

Because my original post had nothing to do with their talent in the first place, so if anything you responded uselessly in the first place.

Just like Sergei, Andrei will be runned out of town and perform elsewhere because of dumb ****ing fans and media. Then Andrei will tear it up. No he doesn't play the same game as Sergei, two different players, but that doesn't mean squat. Andrei's offensive game eats up Sergei's, Sergei is the better all around player.

Grabovski is a different player from all three as well and he's doing extremely well too. He too had the fans on his case for a couple of incidents and was then shipped as he was made to look like the bad guy because all he wanted to do was play. Like Sergei.

The situations are similar and it has nothing to do with their talent. Andrei Kostitsyn gets unwarranted flack from too many people when he is no worse than guys like Cammalleri, Pouliot etc, but Andrei gets most of it. Andrei moves he will be a better player, just like people said of Latendresse, Sergei, Grabovski etc.

And no the bold isn't pathetic. Attitudes about Andrei Kostitsyn took a complete 360 after the stupid mob story which was completely ridiculous. Both Kostitsyns went from heros to zeros in the matter of days.
