Brodeur, eh?

Don't tell our rookies that's he's impossible to beat in Montreal, and we just may have a shot

I feel a Habs loss coming on. Too bad as we're getting really close to the top of the standings.

Let's keep a tradition, shall we?

Ladies and gentlement, today shall be a Clash of the Guardians!

First and foremost, let me present you The Villain!

We shall afront The Devil

He's aware that his appearance doesn't exactly scream "one of the good guys" so he goes out of his way to make sure people, especially kids, understand he is one.

Of course the evil villains the Guardians are up against know he's not someone to be messed with. He honestly enjoys confrontation and he's not afraid to jump into any situation with attitude. He's a bipedal humanoid with hoofed feet, a horse's head and the wings of a giant bat, reminiscent of the "Jersey Devil" from which he takes his name. He has the ability to withstand any heat and breathes fire. He doesn't merely defeat his opponents, he annihilates them. He has a whip-like tail that is comprised of flexible titanium and has barbed hooks at the end. In a fight there is simply no one better to have by your side.
Luckily for everybody, he shall be opposed by the Greatest Hero!

To stop him, comes a true hero. A pillar or morality, the kind of figure you want your kids to look up to:The Canadien!

He has jets strapped to his boots, inside the housing of the boots he has both hockey blades (for travelling across ice) and in-line skates (for everything else) that, when he fires off his rocket boots allow him to zip around town at incredible speeds. The Canadien has the ability of both Power Augmentation and Power Absorption, meaning he can copy the powers of any of the other Guardians as long as he's within a few miles of them. Through the use of Power Augmentation, the Canadien can also enhance the powers of his Guardian teammates. Just as in the NHL, all the teams are excellent in their own unique way, but all of them are made a little more valuable by the presence of the Montreal Canadien.
GO HAB GO! Show The Devil what you do to horny beings coming over your place!

I have a feeling today is a letdown game. An upstart devils squad we will probably be taking lightly after a big win yesterday and a huge game coming up next against Boston on wednesday....

That wouldn't surprise me at all.. The Devils are playing some great hockey now and are on a roll despite their record.. The Habs need to score early to get the lead..

Hmmm... The pessimists are out in force early today.

I guess you couldn't wait for a first GA or a failed PP?
