RNH wont be ready for you guys next year, Larsson wont be effect next year and i doubt you'd want him since you guys are loaded in the D. LAdeskog will be ready but wont be effective as asap for sure.
Yeah, but I'm still enamored with the thought of drafting a young stud and watching him develop with our young D. For all the pain this year has brought, it would be a damn shame to give up that 1st round pick...all IMO.
Toronto doesn't do this because any deal involving Kessel would revolve around a 1st (high) and maybe a 2nd in a "Deep" draft. There's great players in this draft but no franchise guys like Hall or Seguin so from a "save face or get lynched" standpoint Burke won't do it.
Sens don't do it because Kessel is entering his prime while they still need to rebuild their offense. Landeskog/RNH fill two holes they need on the wing for Spezza and can grow with the D as stated above.
Yeah that's why he said grow, no ready and produce.
Yeah, a **** no for that trade, Rather have home grown talent then a one dimensional player that doesn't make any of his line mates better.
Ah okay that makes sense, and regarding kessel, yes he maybe one dimensional player but that doesn't mean he doesn't make his teammates better...he's still able to make plays at times, dont disregard this on that matter trust me lol and im not a great fan of him
I know my fellow Sens fan will curse me out....But Kessel is the ideal Winger for Spezza...Kessel would be a 40+ scorer with Spezz....
I cant say **** no enough to this. You call yourself a Sens fan!?
No, I'll take a young stud, 2-way player or stud young offensive Dman, on an ELC and then RFA for a total of 7 years over your one-dimensional, struggling malcontent who wants out. We've had enough of those lately.
