Torts has said all season long that we're going to live and die by the kids. I'm fine with that.

Yep, you're gonna have your bumps when you ice a young team but it's what a lot of Rangers fans have been asking for for many years. They are actually sticking to the plan and not reacting to the day-to-day trials & tribulations.

Onward! with vigga!

Dubi just said in the pregame interview it's easier playing on the road with not having the fans all over you.

Further proof that booing your team only encourages them to play better.

Did anyone hear what Dubi said? Its easier to play on the road because the fans aren't all over you? I'm not sure I buy that...the fans this year haven't booed nearly as much as usual...so I think thats a load of BS by Dubinsky. I've been at every game, and the fans aren't booing on a regular basis. More like sighs and groans this year. A lot has to do with Redden and Rosie gone, obviously.

Biron's cage

What happened to the Heritage Mask that Biron had made specifically to wear with the Heritage uniform? Weird, it was a nice mask, don't know if he's doing this for a specific reason.

That's true. There are no fans in the NHL more fickle than ours. Just look at this board as a microcosm.

I think there was an issue with the way it fit him IIRC.

Seriously.

Gaborik has one bad year and we should trade him for Brayden Schenn.

We have one good stretch and we're going to the ECF.

Of course Detroit hasn't scored a goal in 2 games. It means they will score 8 tonight

I don't know why but I find it a little weird that torts refers to del zotto as michael, most guys go by nicknames in this league and torts uses alot of them(dubi, zucc, step, cali etc) but torts always refers to him as Michael almost like he's underminding him in a sense, like when your mom gets mad at you and instead of referring to us as mike it's MICHAEL! I vaguely remember last year torts would refer to him as DZ, that was when he was doing great, which he's not doing as of late. Anybody else notice that or am I just crazy lol

What?! I thought that the fans yelling "shoooot!" on the PP regardless if the lane was clear or not would have helped them for sure!!!

Sadly, not the first time a player has mentioned this either. Cally said he was upset that at the treatment Rozy was getting earlier this year. Torts has alluded to it multiple times at well, saying that it's not always easy to play at home. The fans need to focus more on making MSG a hostile environment for the opposing team.

Thats a great point. I always get mad at people around me when they yell shooooot when there is no shooting lane whatsoever. But, at the same time, the Rangers pass up way way way too many chances to shoot and this causes mass frustration with the fans. I feel like if our fanbase had a decent team every year and was competitive, the Garden would be alot different. Its the same situation in Toronto... suffering fanbases = frustrated fanbases

No surprise from what Dubi said... Only idiots would argue that the booing doesn't hurt the Rangers.

And it's not just the booing either.. It's the mindless drones who just sit there and go SSSHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT the entire powerplay without caring if there is somewhere there set to block the shot and start up on a breakaway towards Hank. It puts extra, unneeded pressure on your own team and gives the opposing team confidence.

You only boo your team if the game is out of reach. Then have at it. But before then, you hurt your team.
