The Kings need higher end talent. We already have too many 3rd/4th liners

i can tell you they will not listen to you.

All thy know is grinding, heart and cycling.
Someday they will learn that you have to put a puck into a net to get some points

Cogliano would be redundant on the Kings. I doubt Lombardi would have any interest.

If I'm Tambo and LA asks for Penner, Toffoli has to be coming the other way. Toffoli and a 2nd I'm thinking.

Cogliano has 14 points in his past 20 games, with a +4 rating. Also getting 35 shots on goal.

Not bad at all.

I kind of don't want to give up Cogliano because of his recent play. I feel if we trade him, we'd be getting the short end of the stick. He's really found a role on the team.

I think Forbort/Voynov might be a be an overpayment for Cogliano, but I would be game for the rest.
I'd do Cogs for Drewiske from a kings point of view. We have lots of depth at D and we've got younger higher end d prospects coming through. Cogs may be redundant but he might also spark with a change of scenery.

He was surprisingly good and nobody had him on the list.
He just faces the problem that Martinez grabbed the chance the Kings gave him and outplayed him and that is an even bigger surprise.

He isn't really that special, not a top2 defender but not a #7 defender either.
I watched your Foster on the PP and can guarantee you that Drewiske's shot is not going to the arena roof

Cogliano is not what the Kings need.

We need Penner or Omark or Paajarvi. The Oilers have amazing depth on LW. But they have needs at other positions, such as D.

Kings have the pieces we need to make it a fair and good trade for both teams.

DL should be seriously going after one of those 3.

I think Tambellini would be lynched if he dealt Omark or Paajarvi right now, and at this point, I don't want Penner and I don't buy into him at all. Sorry, never had.

Really, even if its some package from the Kings which includes a top D prospect like Hickey or Voynov, a 1st, and perhaps another piece like Moller?

I think the could probably have to overpay... and they should.
