All four of our centers I thought were great tonight. BMO a beast on the faceoffs. Olli an offensive threat all night. Stajan playing real well defensively on the third line. And of course Backlund pitching in with a goal.

As you can tell, I don't post on here often. Think what you want of that, but I check here often, and man, it is even a hell of a lot more fun just to read this site right now. I can say that I always believed in these guys, and I did, but I don't think to this level. I figured they would make their way back in the playoff hunt right near the end of the year, and I would have been happy with that.

But this is just great. Have to love watching them play this hard, and well. Amazing to see the change.

Hopefully Adam Pardy's injury (upper body) is nothing serious. He's had a good season so far, it would suck if he had to miss some time.

The Flames playoff run can be helped so much more if Bourque starts playing like we know he can.

I was expecting a 30 goal season out of him this year.

I'd imagine we see Karlsson start on Wednesday vs. the Senators.

Best game I ever went to. Only game I ever went to, but I was there and MAN the officials were frustrating. Remember kids, tripping someone with your face is 2 minutes!

Glad we came out of the win, go Flames go! DO IT FOR CONROY! And grats to Jokinen for his 600th point!

Also, the first and the second goals by the Flames= things of beauty.

I was thinking against Anaheim because of the back-to-backs... but Ottawa is pretty bad. Maybe give Kipper 4 days off to prepare for the Ducks and Nucks, that wouldn't be a bad idea.

Absolutely fantastic game again my our Flames! Another full 60 minutes! We came out with a HUGE 2 points! Officially back the playoff picture

I said it before when the Flames were sitting in 14th place...I believe in this team and i know they can make great things happen, we just need to all come together and support them! The Calgary Flames are making an EPIC story and they have NO signs of slowing down! We are only sitting TWO points out of 4th place and i can't believe i am saying it but with the way this team is playing, i can see them snag home ice!

BMO had one of the most dominating games in the faceoff circle i have seen from a Flame (at least since Otto). The crazy thing is that he makes it look effortless.

Maybe that empty netter will get Bourque going again.

I am actually in a state of utter disbelief. I'll admit that I thought the playoffs were a pipe dream, but man is it fun being back on the roller coaster.

Lets hope they can keep it going!!!

I think that the Ducks game has the most importance for our playoff hopes. Yes we can get points from the other two, but the Ducks game is the most important of the next three.

Personally, we might as well start Karlsson against Ottawa. They are my second team, and they have struggled. If the Flames play even half as good as they did tonight, they should be able to get a win. What the Flames CAN'T afford to do is underestimate them, which is what the Nucks almost did last night.

Great solid effort by the Flames last night. They got the first goal and were able to sustain pretty good pressure throughout the night other than some penalities taken in the 2nd (the refs weren't helping their cause either). All aspects of their game were good last night, and thats how they will have to continue to play to get into the playoffs. Great job boys, and thanks for making it fun to cheer for the Flames again!!!
